PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITM) is a coal mining and power company. ITM was established on the 2nd of September1987 and listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange on the 18th of December 2008.

The company has five subsidiaries in which ITM has majority ownership. These subsidiaries are:

1. PT Indominco Mandiri located in Bontang, East Kalimantan
2. PT Trubaindo Coal Mining located in Muara Lawa, East Kalimantan
3. PT Jorong Barutama Greston located in Tanah Laut, South Kalimantan
4. PT Kitadin in Tenggarong, East Kalimantan
5. PT Bharinto Ekatama located in Barito Regency, East and Central Kalimantan

In terms of sales 2009 the Company’s markets were:

1. Japan (20%)

3. Taiwan (10%)
4. India (10%)
5. Thailand (9%)
6. Philippines (7%)
7. Italy (6%)
8. Indonesia (4%)
9. Malaysia(0.9%)
10. South Korea (0.6%)

As a public company, listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 26.28% of ITM is owned by public. Banpu Plc, which is listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, owns a majority of ITM through its subsidiary, Banpu Minerals Singapore Pte Ltd. Banpu Mineral Singapore owns 73.72% of ITM.

PT ITM Tbk has a total work area of 87,565 hectares. As of the 31st of January 2009, it estimated that Company’s coal resources is 1,675 million tons and reserves 312 million tons.
