Based on the assessment result by Media Globe Group (a prominent mass media publisher in Indonesia), of 401 issuers listed on the Indonesian Stock Market, ITM is one of “the Six Top Performing Listed Companies.”

Furthermore, according to the Globe, the Company is also the best emitter in the sector of elementary and primary industry. With regard to this achievement, the Globe honored “Investors Awards” to ITM for both predicates. The Award Ceremony Eve alone was arranged on May 5 at Aryaduta Hotel, Jakarta.

The assessment comprises of three stages. The first is initial selection. The second is the valuation of fundamental and technical performance. The third is questionnaire distribution to investors.

At the first stage, there are several criteria that ought to be met. For example, an emitter should submit financial statement timely, never suffer loss 3 years in a row, have active stocks, have positive equity in the last 2 years, and have more than 300 shareholder parties.

Against 151 issuers that passed the first step, the juries then assessed the fundamental and technical performance. The indicators used for fundamental performance are sales in the last 3 years, net operating margin, return on equity, asset turn over, net profit in the last 3 years. As for the technical performance, the measurement are, return in the last one year, share volatility, and share liquidity.

At the third stage, the juries distributed the questionnaire to 200 investors, both institution and retail investors. At this stage, ITM was nominated as “The Top Performing Listed Companies” among 5 other companies such as PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam Tbk., PT Adaro Energy Tbk., Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk., PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk., and PT United Tractor Tbk..

The Investor Awards by Global Media Group is meant to encourage public listed companies to continuously improve their credibility, so investors have confidence on business climate in Indonesia. The annual Investor Awards has been held for the eleventh time.
