History

Indo Tambangraya Megah was established in 1987 as a Limited Liability Company [or PT/Perseroan Terbatas] and in 2007 was acquired by Banpu Group Thailand and then in the month of December 2007 became a public company. Banpu, through PT Centralink Wisesa International, owns 77.60% of shares. PT Sigma Buana Cemerlang, 2.40% shares and the remaining shares are owned by the public.
 

In 2008, PT Centralink Wisesa International transferred 73.72% of its shares to Banpu Minerals (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. thus making public shares amount to 26.28%. In 2010, Banpu Minerals (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. sold 8.72% of its shares to the public and thus maintained majority ownership of 65% where the remainder was owned by the public in which, individually, had shares of less than 5%.

    The Bontang Coal Terminal Expansion Project was completed in this month. (March 2010)

    ITM won Investor Awards as the “Top Performing Listed Companies 2010 for the Basic and Primary Industry sector”. (May 2010)

    Payment of 2009 Balance of Final Dividend amounting to Rp1,286 per share. (May 2010)

    The Bontang Power Plant began operations. (June 2010)

    PT Kitadin (Tandung Mayang) received TPM Level 3 Certification from CTPM Australia. (June 2010)

    ITM received National Solidarity Awards including a Platinum Trophy for PT Jorong Barutama Greston Mine Head Pongsak Dejmark for his contribution to developing the community. (September 2010)

    PT Indominco Mandiri, PT Jorong Barutama Greston and PT Trubaindo Coal Mining, PT Kitadin (Embalut) and PT Kitadin (Tandung Mayang) all received Environmental Management Rewards from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. (September 2010)

    Payment of Interim Dividend for 1st half of 2010 amounting to Rp795 per share. (October 2010)

    ITM received two GKPM awards from the Coordinating Ministry of Social Welfare in collaboration with Corporate Forum for Community  Development, for our work empowering communities. (October 2010)

    PT Indominco Mandiri won a Gold Award at the International Convention on Quality Control Circles in Hyderabad, India. (October 2010)

    PT Indominco Mandiri achieved Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Level 2 Certification from CTPM Australia. (November 2010)

    The second ITM Innovation Convention was held in Balikpapan. (November 2010)

    The 10th Technical Meeting was held in Surabaya. (November 2010)

    PT Indominco Mandiri, PT Jorong Barutama Greston, PT Kitadin (Embalut) and PT Trubaindo Coal Mining achieved PROPERNAS Blue Level for environmental compliance from the Ministry of Environment. (December 2010)

    PT Indominco Mandiri received the 2008 CSR Award in the Economy category from the Ministry of Social Affairs, in cooperation with the Corporate Forum for Community Development. (February 2009)

    Public Expose at Indonesia Stock Exchange, Jakarta.  (May 2009)

    Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) & Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) held at the Dharmawangsa Hotel. (April 2008)

    PT Indominco Mandiri, one of the subsidiary companies of ITM received a Second-Place Padma Award from the Ministry of Energy& Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia, in honor of its community development program. (October 2008)

    Distribution of first interim dividend for the first half performance to shareholders, in the amount of Rp344 per share. (October 2008)

    Transfer of majority ownership in ITM from PT Centralink Wisesa International to Banpu Mineral (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. Following this transaction, the structure and composition of ITM shareholders resulted in Banpu Minerals (Singapore) Pte. Ltd holding 73.72% of the shares and public  26.28%. (November 2008)

  • 2007

    ITM acquired PT Jorong Barutama Greston and took over the minority share of PT Trubaindo Coal Mining

    After  almost  a  year  of  preparations,  the  initial public offering of ITM finally  came  to  realization.  A  225,985,000 new shares equivalent  to 20% of the total share capital were offered to the public at Rp 14,000 per share. (November 2007)

    Listing day for ITM on the indonesian  stock exchange. Shares closed  at Rp 19,600 on the closing bell. This is a 40% premium from the offering price. (December 2007)
